The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville invites applicants for a nine-month Visiting Assistant Professor position, renewable for up to three years, in the Department of Philosophy. Duties include teaching six courses/year; undergraduate and graduate; engaging in some thesis supervision and usual non-teaching duties (for example, committee work); and pursuing an active research program. AOS: Ethics and/or political philosophy; AOC: Open, but we are particularly interested in Philosophy of Race, Philosophy of Gender, and Applied Ethics. Ph.D. required by August 2016. Salary competitive.
